Backstep Works LLC was founded on craftsmanship, creativity, and a commitment to helping businesses and organizations build brands they're proud to represent.
The name Backstep comes from the fire service, where the backstep was the place firefighters once stood and rode on older fire engines. It serves as a reminder of the values that shaped us—service, teamwork, hard work, and always being ready to answer the call. After more than 20 years as a firefighter and paramedic, those same values continue to guide everything we do. We believe in working hard, standing behind our word, and treating every customer's project as if it were our own.
What began as a passion for creating quality products has grown into a business dedicated to helping others build brands with confidence. From custom apparel and promotional products to signs, marketing materials, managed merchandise collections, and more, our goal is simple: to provide professional branding solutions backed by dependable service.
You'll notice the cross in our logo. It's there intentionally. Our Christian faith is the foundation of who we are and influences how we conduct business—with honesty, integrity, humility, and respect for every customer we serve.
